Our Central Education Team

The role of the Central Education Team is to raise performance of the best schools, whilst narrowing the gap between the highest and worst performing schools: ‘upwards convergence’.

To achieve this, the CET has two functions:

• Support Now (reducing disparity) - take immediate actions and steps where practices are identified as being below an acceptable standard.
• Knowledge Building (growing the top)- to work with and alongside leaders to develop high quality and sustainable provision as we strive for excellence.
